A top priority for the Coalition, as identified by the Advisory Group in May/17, is to facilitate the sharing amongst museum workers of research and information on climate change. In particular, to
Help gather information on climate change-related exhibits and programs. These can serve as case studies to inspire and educate museums as they consider their own climate change initiatives.
Encourage museums and other cultural organizations/associations that are already addressing climate change issues to share expertise and experience.
We’ve started a Case Studies initiative, which I hope you’ll check out and consider contributing to.

Now we’re developing a Resources Page, with links to research and resources to help museum workers “build public awareness, mitigation and resilience in response to climate change,” the Coalition’s goal. We hope this new page will provide links to “greening the museum,” programs & exhibits, videos, and publications on the topics of museums and climate change.
We don’t want to reinvent the wheel but simply be a “trustworthy broker” in helping museum workers find the tools and resources they need to do the job.
So we’re looking for a Volunteer Resources Editor to research, collect, and curate these links on a continuing basis, working perhaps 2 or 3 hours per week. Interested? Drop us a line at Museums4Climate(at)gmail.com. Look forward to hearing from you!
