How to curate an ecologically sensitive exhibition’ is an online workshop hosted by Ki Culture in collaboration with independent curator Alice Bonnot.

The course provides cultural professionals with the tools to organize contemporary art exhibitions with environmental impact awareness. Starting with a short introduction to the environmental crisis context, the course moves on to explore sustainable systems in order to achieve the lowest carbon footprint.

At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to understand the environmental challenges associated with exhibition-making. They will be equipped with the knowledge of how to plan, organize and deliver eco-friendly exhibitions.

Alice Bonnot is an independent curator, art consultant and guest speaker interested in the development of environmentally sustainable curatorial and artistic practices with a drive towards eco-solutions. She is scheduled to teach the short course ‘Sustainable Exhibition Management’ at Central Saint Martins College, London and is regularly invited to talk about sustainability within the arts. She is currently working on the launch of a sustainable art residency program in Lisbon.
